Senior leadership carries a level of responsibility that is visible, constant, and often underestimated from the outside.
Decisions affect people, direction, and outcomes at the same time, and the pace rarely slows long enough to step back and think.

Senior leadership carries a level of responsibility that is visible, constant, and often underestimated from the outside.
Decisions affect people, direction, and outcomes at the same time, and the pace rarely slows long enough to step back and think.
Over time, I saw that experience alone was not always enough to keep leadership clear, focused, and sustainable as expectations continued to increase.
EXPERIENCE and PERSPECTIVE
Before becoming a coach, I spent more than two decades in senior executive roles across hospitality and global markets, working in high-pressure environments where expectations were continuously evolving and demands did not pause.
Most notably, I played a senior leadership role in the transformation and repositioning of The Plaza in New York following its landmark restoration, leading sales, marketing, revenue, and external partnerships in one of the most competitive luxury markets in the world.
Over the course of my career, I worked with Fortune 500 organizations and high-growth companies across industries including finance, legal, consulting, technology, media, and entertainment.
THE TURNING POINT
While working at that level, I experienced firsthand how constant change, uncertainty, and pressure affect how clearly you think and how you make decisions.
I found myself asking different questions about what it really takes to lead in environments where the pace is high, the information is incomplete, and the stakes are real, without losing focus, perspective, or yourself in the process.
That turning point led me to study leadership, human behavior, and decision-making more deeply, and eventually to become a Certified Executive Coach.
FROM EXPERIENCE TO PRACTICE
Over time, my work evolved into a focused practice centered on decision clarity, alignment, and the ability to stay clear in sustained complexity. What I saw again and again is that senior leaders are rarely taught how to think clearly in environments where the pace is high and the full picture is not yet visible.
The leaders who continue to lead effectively are not doing more, they are refining how they think, decide, and lead.
SCHERER EXCELLENCE
Scherer Excellence was built from that experience. Today, I work with senior leaders and organizations operating in demanding, fast-moving environments who want to sustain a high standard without everything stacking on top of them.
The work is grounded in real leadership experience, not theory, and is designed for leaders who carry significant responsibility and want to continue making strong decisions with clarity and confidence.
For most leaders, the work starts with decision clarity, strengthening how they think and make decisions in real time. And when more is needed, the work also supports how they live, lead, and succeed meaningfully.
